Simplify complexity

Our lives and work are filled with so much to do and so little time, making for complications and challenges. What if we could really simplify our lives, focus on what really matters and let the rest go?

It is not easy, it takes impetuous daily practice, but the reward is great enough to make all the effort worthwhile.

Life is simple, but we insist on making it complicated. The ability to simplify life, means to eliminate the unnecessary, so that the necessary may have a place to exist.

We need to do less – to do more, see less – to see more, acquire less – to have more.

Besides the noble art of getting things done, there is the noble art of leaving things undone.

We need to be wiser and learn how to eliminate the non-essentials, since clutter and confusion are ‘failures of design, not attributes of information’. And don’t forget that greatest ideas are always the simplest ones.

We must work hard on getting our thinking clean and making it simple. It’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.

Only those who have patience to do simple things perfectly ever acquire the skill to do difficult things easily.
