Photographers
Traveling anywhere, everywhere for a best shot. Everyone from professional photographers, bloggers, to photo lovers would fall under this category. Some people care about taking the perfect photo more then simply be in that moment and enjoy all sceneries with their own eyes, instead of through the camera lance. These type travelers usually prefer exotic places, very unusual and far away ones, which nobody from their friends saw before, just to feel special.
Perfect planners
Dangerous ones, they will plan every minute of their day! Usually those would be city travelers, because there are a lot of options to organize and places to go to. They would plan everything upfront and if a day suddenly will not go according to their plan, they would feel devastated, because most of the time they don’t even think about plan B. Cultural travelers would fall under this category as well. They love history, museums and all cultural things – and everything have to be panned upfront, as you can’t bump into a museum without double checking the opening hours.
Backpackers
Always wanted to try but never did and never will. Backpackers are just mad. They are super fun and super adventurous, they can travel the whole world with a 10 dollar bill in their pocket. They are very open, easy and flexible. They can change destination plans with a snap of a finger. They are just amazing people and I never understand how can people be like this – completely fearless, living every day as its the last one and enjoying it fully, without thinking about the consequences. I am amazed by them but always try to stay away, because somehow I am just not like this.. more of a thinker, an analyzer, more conscious of everything around me – which is definitely not a backpacker’s mindset.
Resort travelers
People who love resorts. No meter where they go, they stay in the resorts only (most of the time – the all inclusive ones). They love resort schedule – breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks in between, free drinks, swimming poll or beach during the day and entertainment program at night. They don’t want to explore much, unless they are offered a tour to a specific destination with a guide and a group from their hotel, but they would think twice before going, as it costs extra. They have a mindset of – I have pre-paid for this and not going to spend a cent more throughout a whole stay.
Party goers
No meter where they travel, they always make sure there are clubs, bars and entertainment nearby. They go for different destinations around the globe but avoiding the quiet, middle of nowhere retreat type places – as in their eyes those places are just boring. They travel for a club – not for a city, that says it all.
Retreaters
Those are the quiet and unconcerned ones, who love to go to the middle of nowhere, just to stay away from urban life and feel totally disconnected. Those would be number one in the queue to fly to the moon. They can travel alone (solo travelers) to experience a spiritual journey, or with a family or a small group of friends to go somewhere, where they can just chill, relax and rejuvenate.
Shoppers
All they care is fashion, style and showing off. City travelers with a lot of shopping centers and a lot of people around – who can see them. They find new trends in fashion, they are shopaholics and buy everything, without thinking twice. Adventurous – yes, in their own way, as finding a new store is also an adventure.
Food lovers
All they care about is food! As photographers, they will travel anywhere and everywhere but for a best taste. They love food, cooking and experience different flavors. They would start from Italy and end up somewhere in Asia, as the more they travel, the more exotic taste they want to experience.
Typical tourists
They are always sticking to a well-known and famous destinations. They want to see all the places in the world, they love chatting to locals and learning from other cultures. They are very curious people by nature. You will often find these travelers wandering around the streets with maps, guidebooks or with a tour guide, who is guiding them with a flag and telling history about the place. They enjoy sightseeing and will never miss a must-see and must-do activity anywhere they go.
